Independently students keep freshwater fish that were originally living in Araka wa river, flowing in Kita ward. There are as many as 30 different kinds of fish and a total of about 300.

I am the teacher in charge of the Kids aquarium. We have mainly freshwater fish at this moment but plan to keep tropical fish and sea fish in the future. I hope that students will become familiar with nature through caring for fish in our K ids aquarium programme.
